VV 166
VV 166 is a group of galaxies about 300 million light years away from Earth. It consists of four large galaxies: the dramatic blue spiral galaxy NGC 70 (upper center), two nearby elliptical galaxies NGC 68 and NGC 71, and the barred-spiral galaxy NGC 71 (lower left). There are several other smaller galaxies in the group as well, visible in this image.
