NGC 7582
This near-infrared image is of spiral galaxy NGC 7582. It is the brightest member of the Grus Quartet of galaxies, some 60 million light-years distant traveling together through space. The image shows the high quantity of dust that line its spiral arms. Regions rich in star formation are also shown.
