M15
M15 is a globular cluster that is estimated to contain over 100,000 stars. This image demonstrates the new Mosaic 1.1 detectors' ability to see faint stars without overexposing ('saturating') the bright center of the cluster. Pease 1, a planetary nebula, is also embedded in the cluster. Can you find it? (Hint: It is blue and just slightly larger than a star).
