Kronberger 61
Discovered by amateur astronomer Matthias Kronberger, Kn 61 is a faint planetary nebula. Resembling a soccer ball, Kn 61 is the ionized shell of expelled gas from a dying star. Kn 61 is within a relatively small patch of sky being intensely monitored by NASAs Kepler planet-finding mission.
