Hale-Bopp and M31
Comet Hale-Bopp as it passes in front of an interesting region of the sky. The Andromeda Galaxy (M31) is just below and to the right of the head of the comet. The Perseus double cluster (NGC 869 and NC 884) is on the left edge of the image. The faint red nebulosity just above the double cluster is IC 1805,
