Earthshine

Earthshine

An 8-second image of the crescent moon overexposed the light side, but brought out the Earthshine on the dark side. The saturation characteristics of the film causes an interesting effect. The moon looks somewhat like an orange that is being peeled. The exact date of this image is unknown.
