Mauna Kea Summit at Sunset
A panoramic view of Mauna Kea at sunset shows several of the telescopes on Mauna Kea. Submillimeter valley (to the lower left) includes, the JCMT, CSO and SMA telescopes. Near the center of the image are the Subaru, twin Keck telescopes and IRTF. The telescope in the foreground on the right side is Gemini North. Tourists gawk at the sight on the far left.
